HyperX ChargePlay Clutch is ready to power your Switch
In addition to the PC focused line up of hardware, HyperX have announced the ChargePlay Clutch for the Nintendo Switch, a chunky add on that adds an extra battery to the Switch, giving you another 5 hours of gaming, perfect for those without the new model Switch.
In addition to it working as a battery, the grips add more space for your hands, so those with larger hands will enjoy the extra space to hold, but they can also be removed, giving you a Joy-Con grip of sorts on the go. Once you remove them, the Clutch does allow for a stand to be removed, which is much larger than the default one, so you can stand it up to game almost anywhere.
On the side there are a series of LED lights to help indicate the level of charge for the device and speaking of charging, you can do so by plugging the cable into the rear of the device, not under it, which is a welcome change.
The Clutch is available from HyperX right now in the USA, but there is no word on price or release date for us down here.
