HyperX are bringing a wealth of new gear to gamers in 2020
CES 2020 is here and that means new tech, we have already had new screens and laptops from Dell, a TV that is elevating things to new heights and now HyperX are here with a little something for all, from headsets to handhelds, they brought the goods.
Kicking things off with the Cloud Flight S, this is an updated design to the previous Cloud Fight model, but is wireless and packed with Qi Wireless charging. Sporting a closed cup design with 90-degree rotating ear cups, Cloud Flight S provides an immersive in-game audio experience with HyperX custom-tuned virtual 7.1 surround sound and 50mm drivers broadcasting at 2.4 GHz.4 Cloud Flight S includes a detachable microphone with LED mic mute indicator.
The headset will work wirelessly with PC and PlayStation 4, those who game on Xbox One or Switch, or even mobile devices, will need to use the included 3.5mm cable.
Next up is the Alloy Origins Gaming Keyboard, which takes the basic design that we all know, but is now powered by the Aqua mechanical switches. Combine those with fully lit RGB exposed backlit key and you can get some amazing lighting while you game, no matter what level of brightness you set. The keyboard features an aluminum body with an aircraft-grade brushed finish for durability and stability, plus a space-saving layout to maximise desktop real estate for ultimate mouse movement. The USB Type-C to USB Type-A keyboard cable is also detachable.
Alloy Origins offers advanced customisation features for lighting and macros, including simple customisable per-key lighting effects.5 With on-board memory, users may save up to three Alloy Origins profiles for on-the- go gaming using HyperX NGENUITY software. The keyboard also includes 100 percent anti-ghosting and full N-key rollover.
For those that need a more hands on approach, you can look for the Pulsefire Riad, the upgraded Pulsefire that is ergonomic, so you can game in either hand, plus it now sports additional buttons for key binding. This now brings the total up to 11 programmable buttons and with a DPI sensor that goes up to 16,000, meaning you can game with speed and accuracy.
In addition, the mouse includes Omron switches with 20M click reliability. Advanced customisation with HyperX NGENUITY allows gamers to set macros, adjust DPI and customise RGB lighting effects.
Of course if you have a mouse, then you need a mouse pad and this is where the new Fury comes in. The Fury Ultra mouse pad features a radiant 360-degree RGB light ring and light bar that is customisable with HyperX NGENUITY software. The gaming surface utilises a micro-textured hard surface with anti-slip rubber base that offers performance, speed and stability.
The big downside to all of these, they won’t be around until the end of the year, prices will come later as well.
