Fallout is 25 years old and celebrating across the games

The Fallout series is 25 years old now and while Bethesda have been the stewards for the past 14 years, with the release of Fallout 3, but the series started long before then.

With the series celebrating 25 years this October, Bethesda are celebrating across the month, including offering up a free week of Fallout 76 for all players, no Game Pass required.

In addition to that, Fallout Shelter, the mobile game that launched back at E3 2015 and has since been released onto all other platforms, will finally get some new content, the first in over four years. This new update will bring in an alien threat for Vault Overseers to deal with, complete with new weapons, dwellers and items to decorate your vault with. More specifics are still to come when the update launches next week.
