Fallout Worlds is going to reshape Fallout 76, over and over and over again
Enjoying Fallout 76, but with the world wasn’t so not you, well the team behind the game may have the perfect thing for you, as they have announced Fallout Worlds, which is coming to the game on September 8.
This new element to Fallout 76 is designed to allow creators to create their own version of the world, meaning you can make one that is pure terror and requires constant health to survive, or one when electricity flows through the air, allowing all your bases to be built without needing to worry about that.
If you want to feel like a one person army in your world, you can add unlimited ammo to infinite combat AP, to dominate anyone who would oppose your adventures, heck you can even configure creature spawns for serious big game hunting, control weather effects such as fog, nuclear radiation, or even Quantum Storms, turn on absurd jumping heights (just remember to turn off fall damage), enable ragdoll physics, change the height limit on settlements...all this and more are yours to play and experiment with as you see fit.
Plus, as the game grows more and more options will be added, so if you want to create something at launch, but don’t have the option, it might show up soon after.
But how do you access this I hear you ask, well there will be two ways, once the update is released, you will be able to join your own custom world, where you have the power, or jump into one of the ever rotating options in the public worlds.
Don’t fret on those public worlds, they will be crafted by the team at Bethesda Game Studios, will input from the larger Fallout 76 community, so you won’t have to worry about there being nothing but worlds of Deathclaws and Super Mutants, though that could still happen.
The Custom World option is where things will be a little different, as in order to make a world of your own here, you must have a Fallout 1st membership, but if you do, then you can create a world that makes you a god. The upside is that if you create a world, you can invite all your friends, or enemies, to visit it and show them the time of their lives, or end their lives in it.
The same can happen in reverse, if you don’t have Fallout 1st, then your friend who does can invite you into their custom world, just be wary, you never know what might happen.
