Xbox are flying through the colours with the new Astral Purple colour coming next week
Another month and another Xbox controller design, this time however its back to basics with a straight colour on the front and then tones on the back, unlike the recent Stormcloud Vapor from August.
Called Astral Purple, the controller is the exact same as all the others on the inside and features Bluetooth, textured grips on the bumpers, triggers, and back and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The obvious change is that its purple.
This is not the first controller with purple included in it, Xbox had a Sea of Thieves controller in 2018, the Phantom Magenta in 2020 and the Stellar Shift from early 2023 had tones of purple throughout. This however is the first dedicated straight purple colour.
Orders can be placed now, with it shipping and arriving in stores on September 19th, which is next week. The RRP for this is $94.95, but I am sure you might be able to shave a few dollars off here and there.
