No need to be jealous, the Velocity Green Xbox Controller will launch here later this month
Xbox have announced that another new colour for their Xbox controller line will soon be available here, with the Velocity Green option coming on March 24th.
While Xbox have said that green is their signature colour, the green on this controller is quite a bit brighter than the regular Xbox green. What is interesting here is unlike the Stellar Shift purple controller that released last month, this green is on Xbox Design Lab.
What that means is that if you don’t want to wait until March 24th for this exact colour shell, you can order one today from there. Of course, if you do go down that route, there will be more options for buttons, triggers and what not. In fact you could go all the way and make every aspect you can the same green colour.
For those who may be curious the green is the only thing different, its the same features and functions of all the other controllers, from the Stellar Shift from last month, the Deep Pink from January (also on Xbox Design Lab and even the Lunar Shift from last year.
As this is a special colour, the RRP is set at $94.95 and orders can be placed today direct with Microsoft, but expect retailers to follow suit over the next few days.
