Xbox and OPI are teaming up once more, this time to bring the colours of Summer to Xbox
Last year Xbox partnered up with nail polish (and more) company OPI, to bring some of their controller colours into the realm of beauty and now the partnership is back, except this time its in reverse. As a new colour palette from OPI is painting a controller, say hello to the Sunkissed Vibes Special Edition controller
The controllers name is not just hyperbole, as it features multiple colours in the design, all from the OPI range. First up is the main colour, which is made from OPI’s Sanding in Stilettos and provides a shimmery, pearlescent melon top case.
Taking control via the D-pad is OPI’s Flex on the Beach, but more control can be found with the controller’s pastel back case, bumpers, and thumbsticks by and the OPI’s Surf Naked blue that adorns them. Finally, as a finishing touch, revel in the summertime brightness of the Xbox button and triggers inspired by the all work, all play attitude of OPI’s Summer Monday-Fridays.
While we are not going into Summer here, that is not stopping Xbox from releasing the controller next week, as it will be available direct from Microsoft on May 9th, with retailers like to follow soon after.
