Other remakes in the seriesBeyond Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time there are currently no plans to remake any other Prince of Persia title.
Release dateAt the moment, a new release date has not been set, we will provide new information on that front when we are ready.
Pre-order cancellationsSince the game currently does not have a release date, existing pre-orders have been cancelled and refunded where applicable.
Pre-orders may reopen once a new release date for the game has been announced. We will share more details about the development of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake in future updates.
While it is nice that the game isn’t dead, given it was only a few weeks from release when it was first delayed, before being delayed again and then again, before finally swapping development studios. I am fully expecting that the game restarted development when Montreal took over, meaning that depending on the engine or quality they are going for, we shouldn’t expect to see it until late next year, at the earliest.
