Percy Jackson adds some gods to its cast, as well as some monsters
The Percy Jackson books have already had a live action adaptation before, with two movies, but fans were very happy to learn that they were getting the TV series treatment.
We got our first look back at the D23 Expo 2022, but since then news has been slow to be released, until recently when a new God was cast. Lin Manuel Miranda has been cast as Hermes in the series, who plays a pivotal role across the five book series, the role in the second movie was played by Nathan Fillion.

In addition to that casting, last month saw three new folks brought into the fold, playing some characters that never got time on the big screen. Adam Copeland will take on the role of Kratos I mean Ares, the God of War and Suzanne Cryer will play Echidna, the mother of all monsters. While Uma Thurman played the role in the first movie, Jessica Parker Kennedy will be the threat this time as Medusa.
