The Bioshock movie gets a director, one who knows a thing or two about broken worlds
It has been a few months since 2K and Netflix announced that they were working together, to bring the world of Rapture to the TV screen, in a movie form, but we have some new details today.
The adaptation has picked up its director and lead writer, with Francis Lawrence, the director of the Will Smith zombie movie, I Am Legend, as well as directing 4 of the 5 Hunger Games, one of which has yet to enter production.
On the writing side we have Michael Green, the man who wrote Logan and Blade Runner 2049, as well as being the one responsible for American Gods, he also wrote 2011’s Green Lantern, so take from that what you will.

Beyond those new details, there is no word on when production will commence, or when we might see the movie hit Netflix, but it is nice to see progress. Just a word of caution though, the movie adaptation has had directors before and gone nowhere, so just hold back all giant expectations until filming begins.
