Bioshock is getting the movie treatment, thanks to Netflix

Netflix have announced that Bioshock is getting the movie treatment and if that news sounds familiar, this isn’t the first time we have heard that line. What is different this time though, is the production company helping to make it a reality, Vertigo Entertainment.

While their recent productions have been lighter in nature, The Lego Movie series for one, the companies first movies were all horror based, with the USA adaptations of The Ring, The Grudge, The Eye and more, so The Bioshock.. I mean Bioshock should fit within their horror roots.

2K are also involved with the project, though to what extent, we don’t know, in fact apart from the confirmation we know nothing else about the movie.

For now, we just simply need to wait, the question will be though, will the movie release first, or the next game in the series?
