Core Keeper will launch into early access this March, with a demo out now
Sold Out and developer Pugstorm have announced that Core Keeper will soon launch into early access on Steam, but starting today, all players can download a demo to sample the game, ahead of that launch.
What is cool is that any progress made within the demo will be carried over to the Early Access release, which begins on, March 8, allowing players who purchase the game to continue their adventure directly from where they left off.
“We’re so excited for players to jump into the Core Keeper demo today and join us for our next major step with the Steam Early Access launch next month,” said Sven Thole, CEO & Animator at Pugstorm. This is just the start of Core Keeper’s journey, and the community’s excitement for the game and their feedback so far has already given us plenty of ideas for how we would like to expand the game throughout the Early Access period.”
Core Keeper is a multiplayer mining sandbox adventure set in an ancient cavern of creatures, resources and trinkets. Players can mine relics and resources to build their base, craft new equipment and survive. They can also defeat giant monsters, discover hidden secrets, farm crops, cook new recipes and explore a procedurally generated underground world to unravel the mystery of the ancient core.
“Core Keeper is a joy to play and we’re incredibly proud of the game Pugstorm is creating with the Early Access release,” added Vincent Coates, Product Manager at Sold Out. “Player feedback to the game’s open alpha test was incredible, and we’re thrilled to launch today’s demo so that even more players can discover the world of Core Keeper and get started on their adventure ahead of the Early Access launch next month.”
