Fable gets another new trailer and a release year
It has been 4 years since the Fable reboot was first announced and 12 months since our first look, but at the recent Xbox Games Showcase 2024, we got another new look and a release year, sadly it is not this one. Check out the new trailer below.
The new trailer introduces us to Humphry, no relation to a local bear, a former hero of Albion who has been enjoying retirement, that is of course until the Hero pulls them back into adventure.
Playground Games, the folks behind the Forza Horizon series are the lead studio on this game and I do say lead, as it has been confirmed by them that Eidos Montreal is working on the game. They have been described as “supporting the ongoing development of Fable“ which could mean DLC content, or just helping to get the game done, as the game has been dated for release in 2025.
We know the game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC, whenever it does release.
