It has been a fact that PlayStation Studios have been saying since this years entry was announced, but MLB The Show will allow for full cross-play and cross-progression of save data, on all five consoles that the game is releasing on.

So regardless if you buy the game on PlayStation 4 and then download the game through Xbox Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S, you entire career and unlocks come across, meaning you can even take the game on the go with Switch, then when you are home boot into your PlayStation 5 version.
