Dead Island 2 rises once more and gets a new location in Los Angeles
The end of Gamescom Opening Night Live was where Dead Island 2 rose once more, giving players a new look at one of the new characters and its new setting Los Angeles, even though that is not an island. Check out the reveal trailer below.
In addition to the reveal trailer, they also dropped a gameplay teaser trailer, which you can watch below.
In the CGI trailer we see Jacob, one of the four playable characters that we get to control in the game, he and the others find themselves trapped within Los Angeles, as a deadly virus runs rampant, turning those living there into zombies.
Bitten, infected, but more than just immune, you learn to harness the tainted powers running through your veins. Only you, and the handful of other swaggering assholes who happen to be resistant to the pathogen, hold the future of Los Angeles (and humanity), in the balance. You were born to this.
The game is coming on February 3rd for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC via Epic Game Store, as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
