Moving Out 2 delivers the goods, bringing online and cross-play to the series
During Gamescom Opening Night Live, Team17 and local developer SMG Studio were on hand to unveil Moving Out 2, the ultimate couch co-op game, with it coming to all platforms next year, hopefully. Check out the announcement trailer for the game below.
Moving Out 2 will take players back to the breakneck, breakback (and ‘break-knee’) world of Smooth Moves’ Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians (F.A.R.Ts), as they pack furniture, technology, and everything including the kitchen sink across increasingly bizarre locales, with increasingly deadly challenges.
One of the big new additions to the series, will be the inclusion of online multiplayer, meaning you can be a F.A.R.T that is heard around the world, as you call out for help. More interestingly, the game will also support cross-play, meaning you can join up with players from other platforms, giving you even more people to play with.
There are new characters, stages and hazards to get to enjoy, but as to when, right now there is date beyond 2023-ish. When it does come out, it will hit Switch, PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
