The release date for Dead Island 2 has changed again, this time its come forward
In a way that seems somewhat funny, Dead Island 2 has had its release date changed once more, but this time the date has come forward a full week, as the games development has completed.
Delayed last year from its planned February 3rd release until the end of April, the new release date is a week earlier, so April 21st. So why the change? Well this is what they have said.
Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios are in equal measures absolutely thrilled and totally relieved to confirm that the long anticipated zombie slaying saga Dead Island 2 has GONE GOLD. As a celebration the two companies have also decided to shorten the wait for fans and release the game one week earlier than they were expecting. Zombie slaying will now commence on Friday, 21st April 2023.
The team have said that ahead of the games release, more details will start to be revealed, via new trailers and such, but there is no word on what those might be. For a laugh you can watch the now iconic original trailer, which was recreated last year for Goat Simulator 3, or you can watch the gameplay trailer for the updated version below.
The game is set to release on April 21st for PC, Xbox and PlayStation
