PAX Australia 2013 - Ninja's, Vampires's and Soccer players.. oh my!

Local marketing group Mindscape were on hand to show off a few titles from both Tecmo Koei and Konami. I was able to get some hands on time with Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z and was pleasantly surprised by it.

For those that are not sure of what Yaiba is, you take control of a Ninja, that contains a few robot pieces, who fights the undead. Of course its not just as simple as that. Yaiba was killed by Ryu, star of the main Ninja Gaiden series, and now is seeking revenge. Watch this video to see the game in action.

While the game may seem like a simple hack and slash, it does have some strategy elements in there as well as a lot of humor. 

Other games that were on display here were Dynasty Warriors 8, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2014. Here are some screens from each of those games.
