Xbox Series X is launching this November
Overnight, Xbox announced that Series X, their newest console would be launching this November, though as seems to be the case, an exact date has not yet been announced.
Given that the past two consoles have released on November 22nd, an argument could be made for the Series X to also release then, but as that is a Sunday, it is unlikely. The problem is, whatever the date is, Xbox Series X will now no longer release with Halo Infinite as the game has been delayed until 2021.
IF that was your reason for getting a Series X this year, over on the Xbox Wire, they have compiled a list of other games that you can play on your new hardware, new games and games being enhanced to take additional advantage over their current Xbox One releases, check out their reasons below:
More than 50 new games planned for this year across generations and optimized for Xbox Series X, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Dirt 5, Gears Tactics, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and Watch Dogs: Legion. With Smart Delivery you only have to buy these games once to play the best versions for your console, across generations.
New games developed for Xbox Series X and launching with Xbox Game Pass, including exclusives like The Medium, Scorn, Tetris Effect: Connected, and more.
More than 40 popular games newly optimized to take full advantage of Xbox Series X such as Destiny 2, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Madden NFL 21, and more.
The problem is that the bulk of those games are already out today and the ones yet to come, are also coming to other platforms, making the cost of a console hard to swallow.
If you want to get one, there are a few places taking expressions of interest and until the console is priced and dated firmly, that is unlikely to change. You can register at EB Games, Gamesmen and Telstra, Amazon have a listing but there is no registrations for it there.
