The party is not stopping in Crash Team Rumble as Season 2 arrives

Activision and developer Toys for Bob have announced that a second season of content for Crash Team Rumble is on its way, in fact its out now. The new season brings a new character, new mode, new maps and more. Check out the trailer below to get a look at all that is coming.

There is a lot to enjoy in the new season, the inforgraphic below will give you the highlights.

One of the big new additions is that of Ripto, a new character for the game. Wielding his sceptre, he controls the battlefield with a myriad of deadly and powerful spells. Blast your foes away with huge fireballs, summon lightning to strike enemies into the ground, and conjure huge tsunami waves to leap into the air. In the hands of a skilled player, Ripto can combine his abilities together to create devastating combos.

Maps are at the core of the experience and the new season will bring two more to players Waste Deep and Jazz Junction. The first map, Waste Deep, will test players in new ways as it is littered with Cortex’s diabolical experiments, but for those who seek out Jazz Junction, they will find a night-time map amid a jazzy jamboree.

Of course the major addition is the new Party Mode, where you can assemble a team of 4 players and take part in 5 new mini-games. A full breakdown on the modes and the rest of the update can be found on the official site.

The game is out now for both generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
