The Last of Us Multiplayer Game gets a few new details
In our ‘What are PlayStation Studios working on’ feature that went live the other day, we raised up that we would hear more on The Last of Us Multiplayer game. With the series hitting 10 years old this year, it made sense and it seems that Neil Druckmann couldn’t wait as a new blog post was released which gave some more information.
Now before we dive in, taper those expectations, there is no name or characters or release date, it just extra information. The first bit of news is that the team making the game are being lead by Vinit Agarwal, Joe Pettinati, and Anthony Newman. Vinit has worked on all the studios games since Uncharted 4, for Joe his time with the studio has been focused on narrative and finally Anthony, well he was the co-director on The Last of Us Part 2. So between the three of them, they have a really strong background in the world the game is set in.
Druckmann also said this about the game:
“is shaping up to be a fresh, new experience from our studio, but one rooted in Naughty Dog’s passion for delivering incredible stories, characters, and gameplay.”
What that means exactly is anyones guess. Thankfully there was a little more, in that we got a new piece of art from the game.
Again there are no details on when this game will release, or even the platforms, given that The Last of Us Part 1 is hitting PC this March, this game could also come there. But as more details release, we will be sure to spread the news.
