The Crew Motorfest is expanding big for year 2
Ubisoft have released new details for the second year of The Crew Motorfest, which kicks off on November 6. The second year will bring new modes, cars and a new place to drive, welcome back to Hawaii.
The massive addition to the game in Year 2 will be the ideal of Maui, which will be added to the game for all players to enjoy. This new addition will double the amount of space for drivers, add new sights to see from up high in a plane and of course, expand the waters for those who love the sea. You can see the new map below and while it is hard to see in the image, Maui will be seamlessly integrated into the game world, meaning you'll be able to travel between the two islands by sea, by air, or by land via a connecting bridge, all without any loading screens.
Year 2's content is set to launch with an electrifying start in Season 5, the first of three seasons. It will feature the much-anticipated Made in Japan Volume 2, reviving a beloved themed Playlist packed with vibrant neon races, thrilling events, and exotic new locales. Upon completing the main events of this Playlist, players will gain access to the Rivals Race board, unlocking the chance to engage in intense one-on-one dynamic races spanning both islands.
The upcoming year is set to rev up the excitement with the introduction of The Chase Squad, a thrilling new PvE challenge in The Crew Motorfest. Players joining the Squad will engage in high-stakes races, where they must outmaneuver and outrun their opponents across a series of picturesque islands. This adrenaline-pumping content is part of the Year 2 Pass, which also features in the latest Gold and Ultimate editions of the game. Holders of the Year 2 Pass will gain early access to an impressive lineup of 20 new vehicles, with nine ready to hit the road immediately and the remaining 11 set to arrive in monthly installments. Get ready to start your engines for a year of intense racing action!
All this was released in the presentation that you can watch below. Something else that was confirmed there, is that the second game in the series The Crew 2, is on sale, meaning you can pick it up for $1.50 for a limited time on all platforms and unlike The Crew, it will be updated in the future to allow you to enjoy the game offline, so when the servers shutdown, the game can still be enjoyed.
