The Crew Motorfest is going island hoping in Year 2
Ubisoft revealed at Ubisoft Forward 2024, that when season 5 of The Crew Motorfest arrives this November, it will bring a new game mode but also a new location, as the island of Maui is being added to the game.
The games new mode is called The Chase Squad and when you join it, you will be thrown into a PvE experience where you undertake high speed pursuits against rivals. Check out the trailer to get a feeling about what it will offer.
For those who have driven all over the roads of O‘ahu, that is the name of the island most people just call Hawaii, Maui will deliver more than 100 square kilometres to explore. This includes locations such as Haleakalā National Park, with its bamboo groves, volcanic sands, the streets of Kahului and even the waterfalls of its Ohe'o Gulch Sacred Pools.
The Chase Squad will also take place on Maui, so no-one will go in with an edge, based on how much they have driven around O’ahu. Season 5 will also bring more of the Made in Japan playlist, with new races, events, and locations.
Also in an interesting change, the season count appears to have dropped for year 2. Most games, from all companies that do the whole season thing, tend to do one every 3 months and year 1 of The Crew Motorfest did the same. Season 4 of the game is about to launch, but so far there have only been 3 seasons announced for year 2.
When Year 2 begins with Season 5, it will do it on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
