Star Wars Beyond Victory reveals what players can enjoy at Star Wars Celebration 2025
What was teased a few weeks ago, we now have new details on Star Wars Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset. In this game, players will get to meet up-and-comer Volo Bolus as they join forces with the legendary podracer pilot Sebulba in this heart-pumping and engine-thrumping mixed reality experience.
In Beyond Victory, you’re in control of a podracer as it zips through canyons and races past (and occasionally into) obstacles on the podrace track. With Luuda and Sebulba in your ear offering tips, suggestions, and occasional insults, you’ll get a crash course in podracing unlike any other.
“We started by asking ourselves some questions. What kind of toys would be amazing in mixed reality? What toys don’t or can’t exist in real life? Podracing zipped straight to the top.”
Set around the timeline of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Beyond Victory centers on up-and-coming racer Volo Bolus who joins forces with the unforgettable Sebulba, originally seen in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999). Fans will be able to experience this new story in three distinct modes:
Adventure: Using a combination of virtual and mixed reality, the story follows Volo – an aspiring podracer whose life gets flipped upside down under the mentorship of the infamous Sebulba.
Arcade: Experience the thrill of podracing in mixed reality on a virtual holotable that brings players right into the heart of the action like never before.
Playset: Transform the physical world around you and create your very own incredible Star Wars moments in mixed reality with a collection of unlockable virtual action figures and vehicles.
Right now, the game/experience is only coming to Meta Quest 3 devices, but the Vader series did come to PlayStation VR. There is no release date for this yet, but you can wishlist it on the Meta store now.
