Sega adds one more game to their Switch 2 launch line up

We have known since the full reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2, that Sega were bringing 5 games to the console and two of them were going to be on release day, well that has changed.
Sega have now announced that Sonic X Shadows Generations will also arrive onto Nintendo Switch 2 on release day, joining the already announced Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S.
Sadly, while they confirmed the game, they still have not shown the game off, the only information about it comes from the newest press release and it is this:
Experience this definitive blend of Shadow, Classic Sonic, and Modern Sonic gameplay with enhanced graphics for Nintendo Switch 2.
So, turns out hours after I posted this story, a trailer was released
In fact, the only game from Sega that is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, to get any sort of look at the gameplay is Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut, which you can see below. Now I am not saying that Sonic or Puyo Puyo will be bad games, but when you reveal your games are launching on a new console and that console launch is some 40 days away, it might pay to reveal what they look like.
In any event, the addition of Sonic X Shadow Generations, brings the total of Day 1 games up to 19, the first 18 can be found here, so there is a lot of choice. If you are still waiting on your chance to order a Nintendo Switch 2, you can check out our guide, to see where you can and what you can.
