Sega Brings The Goods To Switch

Sega has announced that the Nintendo Switch is going to get three games in 2017, Sonic Mania, Project Sonic 2017, which does not have a proper name yet and Puyo Puyo Tetris.

Kicking off with Puyo Puyo Tetris, the game is making its way from Japan to world wide on the Switch and also PlayStation 4, sometime after the Switch launches. The game offers tons of gameplay styles - from single-player Adventure and Challenge modes to ferocious competition with up-to-four player Arcade modes, for tons of Tetris/Puyo variety.  Plus, an in-game Shop enables players to unlock new characters and skins for Puyos and Tetriminos.

Puyo Puyo Tetris will be releasing only in physical format on the PlayStation 4, while the Nintendo Switch version of Puyo Puyo Tetris will have a digital version and a special retail edition, though local availability has yet to be confirmed.

The game will feature Adventure mode, Multiplayer Arcade, Solo Arcade and Online as well, giving players a wealth of options to choose from.

Sonic Mania however is a mix of the old and new, but taking players back to the old school days of Sonic

Sonic Mania brings fans back into the 2D world of platform games with nostalgic pixel-style art and core "classic" gameplay by reimagining iconic Zones and Acts from Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic CD and Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles, and adding in completely new Zones with all-new Acts and boss fights into the mix.

Finally, Project Sonic was announced last year during Comic-Con as coming to Switch, then NX, but even now, six months later, we still have no extra details, outside of that initial trailer.
