Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is adding the Fantastic Four to the line up

Netease Games and Marvel have announced that when Season 1 of Marvel Rivals kicks off on January 11 (at least for those down under), the Fantastic Four will join the roster of heroes playable.

The trailer below does not provide any details on how each of the four members will play, but it does set a dark tone for the series, which given that Dracula and Doctor Doom are involved, makes a lot of sense.

This is all we know about the new season right now, but that will change soon I would imagine.

Darkness engulfs New York as the Timestream Entanglement leaves Doctor Strange trapped in the Entangled Astral Plane, scattering the Darkhold pages. Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupt the moon’s orbit, plunging the city into eternal night and unleashing an army of vampiric creatures. The season kicks off on January 10th for those in the UTC space, ie London, but there is no time for the beginning. If its midnight UTC then that makes it around 10:30am for us in Australia on January 11.
