Rainbow Six Mobile is bringing the action of Siege to wherever you want
Ubisoft have announced that Rainbow Six is going mobile with Rainbow Six Mobile, a totally original name, but where it lacks up in a cool title, it makes up for in gameplay, as the most common gameplay aspects of Rainbow Six Siege are coming to the game, check out the announcement trailer for the game below.
Yes, the game is based on Siege, so its not a true Rainbow Six experience, if you thought it might change, the opening paragraph from the developers will destroy any other expectations.
Let’s start from the beginning. It's no secret we are HUGE Rainbow Six Siege fans! Our vision is to bring the Rainbow Six universe to mobile, enabling more people worldwide to enjoy this competitive, tactical, and immersive FPS experience whenever and wherever they want. We feel very lucky that the mobile market has evolved to the point where we can develop such an ambitious game that we love to play.
The game is set to offer a 5v5 experience, where a team of attacks will attempt to storm a location and a team of defenders… defend it.
This hasn’t been a game that has been thrown together in the last month, it has been in development for over 3 years.
After over 3 years of development, we felt it was the right moment to announce the game and start testing with real players. Our objective is to develop the best R6 experience on mobile, and we can only do that with the community’s help. And honestly, the team can’t wait to get our game into players’ hands!
There is no release date for the game and as a mobile game, there isn’t likely to be one, though registrations are being taken now for both iOS and Android, giving players a chance to take part in one of the live tests the team will be hosting soon.
If you want to sign up to take part, you can do that here, just know not everyone will be selected.
