QuakeCon is happening, just purely digital
Like many shows that were happening this year, QuakeCon was cancelled due to the current climate of the world, but Bethesda have announced overnight that QuakeCon is going to be an all digital show this year, which honestly, for anyone in Australia, was the case anyway.
Sadly, they have not released any details about the upcoming show, but given that they have always had a reveal or two, some deep dives into games, both known and unknown, as well as some esports tournaments, one might expect that to be the case this year.
With the recent reveal that Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop are going to be PlayStation 5 exclusives, at least on consoles, for now, we might see more about them there. There is the chance that we get a reveal of something for Xbox Series X and hopefully, we get something on DOOM Eternal for the Switch
For now though, all we have are the dates, August 7 - 9 and while those are the USA dates, given its streaming nature, they might kick off here on them as well.
