QuakeCon 2024 is back for another year, so get your PC ready
Bethesda have announced the dates for QuakeCon 2024, where gamers descend onto Texas to enjoy Quake, Doom and many other games. This year the show will take place August 8 to 11.
For those who attend in person, you will be able to gather with legions of gaming enthusiasts for an epic Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) event, where the fun never stops. Day and night, you'll be immersed in a sea of games, competing in tournaments, engaging in tabletop battles, and enjoying meetups. There's more than just gaming—expect a treasure trove of giveaways too!
For those who can't be there in person, QuakeCon has got you covered with live streaming on Bethesda's official Twitch channel. Tune in for a weekend filled with special programming and maybe even snag an exclusive promotion. No matter where you are, you're invited to join the party and celebrate with the global gaming community!
In years passed, we have gotten releases of Quake and Quake 2 in remastered formats, along with DOOM 64 and more, so the chances of something good are strong. If I were a betting man, I would put money down on us seeing Starfield: Shattered Space, the games story expansion, at the event. A trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 would be likely, but then a proper dive into it at QuakeCon, depending on the release date of course.
If you want to be there in person, tickets will go on sale on May 22nd, at least for us in Australia, in America it will be May 21st. The full schedule is not yet know, but we will share it once we know.
