Oz Comic-Con tickets go on sale tomorrow and Melbourne gets its first guest

Oz Comic Con is still some months away, but the hype level is starting to build, as tickets are being put on sale tomorrow and the first guest for the Melbourne event has been announced.

For those in Melbourne, the even runs on June 6 and 7, but for those in Brisbane and Sydney, they have to wait a little longer, as Brisbane will run on September 19 and 20, where as Sydney will get it on September 26 and 27.

The first guest announced for the Melbourne show is Canadian actress Rachel Skarsten, currently known for her role as Alice or Beth Kane in Batwoman, which is lead by Australia’s own Ruby Rose, check out the trailer for the show below.

Rachel Skarsten rose to fame at the age of 16, landing the major role of Dinnah Lance (aka Black Canary) in the series Birds of Prey, and has since portrayed the roles of Tamsin in Syfy’s fan favourite Lost Girl and Queen Elizabeth1 in CW’s Reign. Skarsten has also appeared in the international blockbuster films Fifty Shades of Grey and The Vow.
