Nintendo has unveiled Switch 2, more details to come in April

After years of waiting and hoping, Nintendo have finally announced the successor to their Switch line of gaming hardware, which has sold 146.04m consoles across the original, the Lite and the OLED models. The new console is just called Switch 2. Check out this first look video for it below.

Of course, one of the key things that people were hoping from from the reveal was a date and price, we did get a date, but it was not the release date. Rather the date is for the first ever Nintendo Switch 2 Direct and the date is April 2nd. In addition, there are going to be a series of events globally for people to get hands on with Switch 2, these are all the dates and locations.
