Nintendo has released details for Nintendo Live Sydney 2024
After revealing that it was happening, Nintendo have released the first details for Nintendo Live Sydney 2024, so lets get into it.
So what will be at the event, well players will be able to go hands on with a number of Switch games, no word on what they are, but the official site has some common games displayed, like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splatoon 3, so they would be likely to show up.
In addition to games, attendees can get photos with Mario and Luigi, check out the pop-up My Nintendo Store which will offer a range of Nintendo themed items, if you can’t wait you can get them now from Nintendo. Of course, as this is a Nintendo event, there will also be a host of family friendly activities, which will revealed closer to the date.
The original voice of Mario will also be in attendance, as Charles Martinet lives up to his role as Mario Ambassador.

Finally, there will be a live stage where many events will take place, and as the finals of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: AU/NZ Championship 2024, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: AU/NZ Championship 2024 and Splatoon 3: AU/NZ Championship 2024 tournaments are taking place at the show, they will likely be on that stage.
So how do you get in, well like I suspected its done via a lottery system. This ensures that its fair to all, rather than those sitting by their computer and in order to enter it, you just need a Nintendo account.
Here are the steps as provided by Nintendo:
First, visit the Nintendo Live website and register for an opportunity to be randomly selected to receive free tickets. The registration period starts on 17th June at 9:00am AEST and will remain open until 30th June at 11:59pm AEST.
Eligible Nintendo Account holders who are at least 18 years old can register for the drawing. You can easily sign up for an account here if you don’t already have one.
For groups of two or more, each attendee with their own Nintendo Account must be linked to the same free Nintendo Account Family Group. This ensures that all parties in the same group can attend together and on the same day.
If selected, attendance will be for one event day. More details about registering for and visiting Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY can be found on the Nintendo Live website.
