MLB The Show 23 reveals the athlete on the cover of the Collector's Edition
As is tradition, PlayStation Studios are drip feeding information on MLB The Show 23, this time its the reveal of the cover star for the Collector’s Edition. The star is Derek Jeter, who spent 20 years playing in the Majors and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020 with a 99.75% Yes vote.
Of course, they didn’t just reveal the star on the cover and call it a day, they also detailed what is included in the editions. Before we get into details though, the Captain Edition, which comes with a MLB The Show 23 branded hat, is not available in Australia, so don’t get hyped up for it.
The game will be available here in the standard edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition, if you opt for the latter, here is what you get:

While the details are announced, orders will not be accepted yet, that is in a few days still.
Finally, starting February 15 around 10am Los Angeles time and lasting 7 days, players 18 or over in U.S. and Canada with a PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch internet-connected console can participate in the MLB The Show 23 Technical Test.
If you have an account on your local console that can access the store for another region, you can take part, just know that any online experience may not work as intended, as servers will not be local.
The standard edition of the game will be available on March 28th, with the Digital Deluxe Edition available on March 24th.
