Minecraft Legends digs up new details via the Xbox Developer Direct
Kicking off the Xbox Developer Direct, Minecraft Legends delivered new details on the games PvP, confirming that cross-platform gameplay will be included.
Players who want to take part in this PvP mode, will have to play with other players, as you can’t do it solo. When a round starts, like regular Minecraft, you will have the chance to rush out and gather supplies. Also like regular Minecraft, the maps will be randomly generated at the start of each match, giving you a new experience each time.
Of course, the main threat of the game are the Piglins and while you can focus on taking down your enemy, the Piglins will not just let you be. So the choice comes down to attacking the opposing team or dealing with them, but if you focus on one, the other won’t just let you be.
The big news of course is that the game now has a release date, April 18th. The game itself is coming to Xbox, PC, PlayStation and Switch.
When it launches, you’ll be able to get hold of two versions of Minecraft Legends, the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game and the Deluxe Skin pack for a discounted price.
