Lollipop Chainsaw RePop is the full name for the remake, but its delayed until next year
Dragami Games and Grasshopper Manufacture have announced that the Lollipop Chainsaw remaster will officially be called Lollipop Chainsaw RePop. The bad news though is that the game will no longer release in 2023 like it was planned and will now release in 2024.
The news was shared by Yoshimi Yasuda, the producer of the original release and the founder of the company remastering the game. The tweet is below.

Here is the translated message:
“Unfortunately, various factors resulted in things making it so that fans can no longer easily play Lollipop Chainsaw, and it has been some time since players have not been able to access the game on current consoles.
“We, the original development staff on Lollipop Chainsaw, think of the game as very precious to us, and did not want to leave it in limbo, where players who want to play it cannot.”
The games original creator Suda 51 is not involved in the remaster work, nor is the games original writer James Gunn, who most folks will know these days from director Guardians of the Galaxy.
