The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game delivers some behind the scenes goodness

Gun Interactive have released a fairly meaty chunk of behind the scenes goodness for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game, which is based on the 1974 movie of the same name.

The first video released shows off how the team uses motion capture to replicate and build upon the infamous performances, that scared generations of movie goers.

Last week saw the arrival of “Tragic”, the latest track from the Remains companion album, written and performed by Wes Keltner & Jim Bonney. The heavy, looming song conjures images of industrial stagnation and rhythmic horror, and was very much inspired by the themes evoked by Kim Henkel’s original screenplay for the 1974 film.

There is no date beyond 2023 for the games release, but it is great to see attention being paid to all the small areas of the game. Whenever it does release, it will come to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
