Hades 2 is Bringing us Back to the God-Like Rogue-Like Mythos
Supergiant Games’ modern god-like rogue-like Hades is getting a sequel. Hades 2 received a very surprising but largely applauded announcement at The 2022 Game Awards. This time around we’ll be exploring Melinoë, and diving into a brand new area of Greek Mythology.
There has yet to be many details released beyond an announcement that similarly to the first game, the game will be developed with early access, allowing the players to shape and mould the way the game is developed going forward. We’ve yet to receive any details on when the early access will occur, but hinted that the game is still a ways off being ready to play. A mention that there will be more details to come in 2023, but no confirmation that we will actually get to play it in 2023.
As you can see the official reveal trailer above, which shows off our new heroine and a glimpse into the story we can expect. A fight against the Titan of time himself, Cronos. The gameplay shown is similar to what we got in Hades, but looks like there is going to be even more fleshed out abilities and over the top action.
