Forever Skies finally takes flight this April in full
Developer Far From Home have announced that Forever Skies will release in full for both PC and PlayStation 5 on April 14. In celebration of the news, a new trailer for the game was revealed, check it out.
Forever Skies invites players to return to a post-apocalyptic Earth, where they must scavenge the ruins of a toxic world while piloting and upgrading their own customisable high-tech airship. As they explore the remnants of humanity, players will need to uncover the planet’s secrets, craft vital tools, and adapt to the harsh environment in a desperate fight for survival. The game can be played solo or in co-op for up to 4 players.
The full 1.0 launch includes all features that have been added to the game since Early Access, and a raft of brand-new ones, including:
Biomes: evolving the game’s procedural world with more cohesive environments
Advanced Airship Building: players will find new designs, upgrades, and cosmetics to customise their airship
New Locations: adding to the adventure with new location types and places to explore
… and the final story chapter, where players will be faced with an unprecedented and chilling decision.
