Dynasty Warriors: Origins has been given a release date
As part of the recent State of Play, Koei Tecmo were on hand to reveal a new trailer for Dynasty Warriors: Origins and the games January 17 release date. Check out the new trailer below.
The latest installment in the series unfolds at the onset of a tumultuous epoch in the Three Kingdoms, featuring an amnesiac traveling martial artist as the original protagonist, who is thrust into the heart of a grand conflict. In this game, the hero immerses himself in the riveting narrative of ancient China, actively shaping the story while offering players a direct encounter with the land's strife. As they navigate the protagonist's path, players' decisions will not only shape their journey but also hold a secret that could sway the fate of the Three Kingdoms, casting a fresh light on a historically chaotic era in thrilling new ways.
In his numerous clashes, the unnamed warrior sometimes plunges into battle solo, and at other times, he unites with allied commanders and troops to charge against vast enemy legions. Players can leverage the prowess of Musou officers, direct their units, or spearhead assaults against advancing foes, adapting their tactics to overcome the lethal arenas in this thrilling display of one versus a thousand combat.
