Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons has been announced and is out this Winter
Modus Games have partnered with Arc System Works and developer Secret Base to announce Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons for all platforms, check out the reveal trailer below.
Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is a co-operative beat ‘em up featuring the original tag team duos but is now infused with roguelite elements to deliver classically informed, highly replayable Double Dragon-style brawls with a new edge.
Series icons Billy and Jimmy Lee are joined by Marian, returning as a fully realized, firearm-wielding ranged fighter, and newcomer Uncle Matin, a riot-shield-wielding powerhouse. Tag in and out as the classic Lee duo or switch it up with different characters. With two-player local co-op, the action quadruples as you and a friend clean up the mean streets.
Something that is exciting is that the game will offer almost unlimited replayability, depending on what missions you select. The order will impact the overall length, enemies and difficulty, so choosing will be a fun, if challenging experience.
The game is set to release sometime this Winter for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch.
