Diablo IV reveals the first details of its next season of content
Diablo IV is currently enjoying the first season of content, but that has not stopped the developer from getting ready for what comes next. Season of Blood is the name of the next chapter and will arrive on October 18th, check out the teaser for it below.
If the name didn’t give it away, the next season will introduce Erys, a Vampire Hunter and with her help, players will be able toembrace new supernatural powers in order to protect Sanctuary from the vampire threat and ultimately face off against the vampire lord.
The role of Erys will be voiced by Gemma Chan, who some may recognise as Sersi from Marvel’s Eternals among many other roles.
Season of Blood will introduce a new Questline for you to uncover, Vampiric Powers to wield against their originators, 5 additional endgame bosses with the ability to target specific Unique and Uber Unique items as a drop, and more.
In addition to new content to explore the season will bring new fixes to the game, here are some of the highlights that are expected to be included:
More efficient Inventory management for Gems.
Paragon Points, Skill Points, Potion Charges, and Obol capacity upgrades will now carry over into a new Season once achieved with an Eternal or previous Seasonal Realm character.
Changes to the functionality of status effects such as Vulnerable, Overpower, Critical Strike Damage and also Elemental Resistances.
