Croc Legend of the Gobbos has been announced
Everything old is new again it seems as not only is developer Argonauts back after 20 years, but they are bringing back Croc, their character who shined on the PlayStation as one of the many character platformers of the day. Check out the trailer for the remaster of Croc Legend of the Gobbos.
The remastered edition is set to captivate a new generation of gamers with its high-definition graphics, modernized controls, and a gameplay experience that's both nostalgic and exhilarating. It promises to spark the imagination of its players and rekindle the passion for video gaming by reminding them of the magic that drew them in originally.
“We wanted to honour the original game’s legacy while introducing it to a new audience. The HD remaster allows us to do just that. It’s been a labour of love for our team, and we can’t wait to share it with players on all the current consoles and PC later this year.”
While the studio has announced Croc, they have also said that there is more on the way. As for Croc Legend of the Gobbos, apart from PC there are no other confirmed platforms or a release date. Given that it is a mascot platformer, a Nintendo platform would seem ideal, but which one and of course, given the characters origins on PlayStation, that too feels right. For now though, we need to wait and see.
