Croc Legends of the Gobbos reveals all platforms alongside a new trailer

Argonaut Games have confirmed the platforms that Croc will leap onto when Croc Legend of the Gobbos Remaster is released. The platforms are PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox, the usual suspects, but as part of the news a new trailer has been revealed, check it out.

"Croc: Legend of the Gobbos" narrates the charming adventure of a lovable, modest crocodile who, armed with nothing but his signature backpack and a wiggly behind, embarks on a mission to free the Gobbos from the evil grasp of Baron Dante and his legion of Dantinis. Croc must navigate through a variety of distinctive worlds, utilizing skills such as running, jumping, climbing, swimming, and tail spinning to liberate the Gobbos from their imprisonment.

A highlight of the remastered edition is the Crocipedia, a comprehensive digital archive that provides an in-depth exploration of the game's development process. This digital museum houses a collection of previously unseen materials such as design documents, concept illustrations, animation trials, early music compositions, and rare interviews with the original creators who brought the game to life.

The Croc remaster aims to reignite the imaginations of players with its enhanced HD graphics, updated modern controls, and an authentic gameplay experience that will transport players back to the golden age of gaming. Croc Legend of the Gobbos is both a nostalgic return for retro-gamers and an exhilarating new adventure for first-timers. We have dedicated ourselves to bringing this remaster to as wide an audience as possible so that fans of PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC on GOG can experience the magic and enjoyment of Croc

In what is a unique situation, the game is hitting consoles, which is fine but when the game comes to PC it will only be available via GOG.com. When players buy the game there, they will also get the original release, but there are currently no plans for Steam or Epic releases.

There is currently no release date for the game, on any platform, but next year is likely.
