Age of Mythology Retold has new tales to tell this September
During the recent Xbox Games Showcase 2024, it was confirmed by World’s Edge that Age of Mythology Retold will arrive for PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 4. Check out the latest trailer for the game below.
The new trailer revealed the first gameplay footage, showing off exciting action and divine powers, as well as some newly redesigned deity portraits.
In the game you will choose your gods from the Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and Atlantean pantheons. Devastate your enemies by summoning powerful lightning storms, earth-shattering quakes, and even the famed Nidhogg dragon. Or call upon nourishing rains and protective Dryads to help your people grow & prosper.
You won’t be giving orders to only man as you will be able to unleash Centaurs, Trolls, Mummies, and more. From bejewelled crocodiles who harness the power of the sun to the mighty one-eyed Cyclops, you will command diverse units inspired by the world’s great mythologies.
Embark on multiple campaigns spanning 50-missions that take you across a vast, mythical world: besiege the mighty walls of Troy, battle Giants in the frozen wastes of Midgard, and discover the mysteries of Osiris in the shifting sands of Egypt. Become a hero of myth—or even a god.
This is also the first game in the series to launch on PC and console at the same time.
