The first trailer for Dragon Age: The Veilguard has been released

When Bioware announced that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was getting a name change and would now be Dragon Age: The Veilguard, they promised new details on June 12, well they lied. At the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, a brand new trailer was revealed, you can check it out below.

In The Veilguard, you will have to rally a team of seven companions, each with rich lives and deep backstories. Like past games in the series these are characters to befriend, and even fall in love with, if you have the charisma with them.

Among them, an assassin, a necromancer, and a detective will each bring their own expertise and unique abilities to the fight. You are never alone; decide who to take into battle and together face down demons, dragons and even ancient gods.

So while we were promised a showcase in 2 days, that was not actually a lie, as it will take place at 1am on June 12. There is actually a whole lot of content to come, if you follow their roadmap, but there is no release date yet for the game, outside of Spring 2024. The game will come to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
