God of War Is Back With A New Look

After completing his quest for revenge in God of War 3, Kratos was last seen crawling to a cliff edge, bleeding very heavily and since then nothing, but that all changed at PlayStation's E3 Press event.



While there are no additional details released, the title is simply called God of War at this point, which might point to a reboot of the series, even keeping Kratos's story. People have expected more of Kratos and this seems to deliver that, but with a new direction, the game seems to be slower and more personal, with a very close over the shoulder camera. Adding to that, Kratos now has a son, with whom he is attempting to educate in the ways of the world.

No release window was given, but you can expect it next year.
