Blast Off To A Galaxy Far Far Away With Disney Infinity 3.0

Disney have released a whole new bunch of screenshots from Disney Infinity 3.0, focusing on the playset that comes with the starter pack, Twilight of the Republic.

Developed by the team at Ninja Theory, the game is set during the later years of the Clone Wars, where players will be able to experience four distinct planets, such as Tattooine and Coruscant as well as Geonosis and Naboo. Along the way, players will use the Force and master their Lightsaber skills as they fight alongside Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda to save the Republic and defeat the Separatists.

Each Jedi character is given specialised Force combat abilities and Force finishing moves, as well as unique Lightsaber forms with powerful combo attacks. As Jedi Master Yoda, for example, players will leap into action with his agile and acrobatic prowess. Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano uses her lightning-fast dual Lightsabers to carve up Battledroids, while Darth Maul uses his double-bladed Lightsaber and power in the dark side of the Force in a death-defying duel against the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Players will get Ahsoka and Anakin in the starter pack and then will be able to pick up Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda if they so desire. Two more playsets for Star Wars are coming, one based around episodes 4-6 titled Rise Against the Empire and one set around the upcoming Episode 7 The Force Awakens.
