Microsoft announces $39.99 Windows 8 Pro upgrade offer for most Windows users
Microsoft recently unveiled that anyone who buys a new Windows 7 PC will be able to upgrade to Windows 8 at the end of the year for 15 bucks.
When I heard this I could not believe it, but it seems many people were of the same opinion, we already own Windows 7, where is our deal. Well it seems Microsoft have heard. Come Windows 8 launch you can upgrade for $39.99, or $69.99 for those that want a physical disc.

We set out to make it as easy as possible for everyone to upgrade to Windows 8. Starting at general availability, if your PC is running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 you will qualify to download an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for just $39.99 in 131 markets. And if you want, you can add Windows Media Center for free through the “add features” option within Windows 8 Pro after your upgrade.
