Xbox are bringing a trio of DOOM The Dark Ages accessories to players this month

Xbox have announced a trio of new accessories all themed to DOOM: The Dark Ages, including a standard controller, an elite controller and a new console… wrap.

There isn’t much to say about the controller, at least the specifications of it, as it’s the same as every other Xbox controller that has been made for the Series X generation. Where this one changes things up is with the design of the print, which is designed to replicate the look of the DOOM Slayer.

The right side of the controller features the Slayers Mark, the face buttons drop the usual letters and instead use letters from the Sentinel alphabet. The controller also comes with a DLC code for the Executioner skin, which can be applied to the Slayer in game.

The controller is available to order now direct from Microsoft, but it will eventually come to retail partners, so if you prefer to go that route, please check with them. The RRP for the controller is $109.95

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 for DOOM: The Dark Ages might have an incredibly long name, but it features a much simpler design. Once again, the Slayers mark is on the controller, but this time its front and centre. The top of the case is actually transparent red, but unlike the recent Pulse Cipher Red, this one contains ember-like flakes mixed in, to help give it a more hellish effect.

This one is going to be on sale starting on April 24, but orders can be placed now. This controller is exclusive to the Microsoft Store, so if you want one, you will need to order direct. The RRP for the controller is $269

Finally, Xbox Series X owners can customize their console even further with the DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition console wrap. Transform your console into an omen of DOOM, featuring dark, towering rock shattered by the bright red Mark of the Slayer. On the inside, unspeakable inscriptions and symbols from the deepest levels of Hell are etched into the design, sealed away by the wrap’s easy-to-install Velcro strap – no tools or adhesives required.
